The Italian Job

I have one thing to tell you about … AN INTERNATIONAL WEDDING! And it was the dreamiest of all dreams.

I was asked by a dear friend if I would help day-of with her wedding in the most beautiful country in the world, ITALY! We started our trip on the cobblestones of Venice, drinking a aperil spritz on the canal and sitting in St. Marks square till the early hours -wine and pianos were involved! We then made our way to the breathtaking countryside of Tuscany, where we lived on an olive vineyard estate and celebrated the love of our friends. I eventually made my way to Rome, threw a coin into the Trevi Fountain and saw the

Colosseum.

We’ve got them wed, now time to eat some bread. The food, the sights, the getting mistaken for Italian… it was all magical and the most me I may have ever felt.

When planning a trip to Italy, there is some much to see that it will be impossible to see everything in one trip but here are some of my favorite sights, outfits, experiences (outside the actual wedding of course):

When celebrating or traveling - or in this case, both! - who doesn’t love a good nosh? Here are the gli spuntini gioiosi (snacks that bring joy) we loved the most!:

Pistachio Croissant enjoyed on the streets of Italy!

The most perfect and delicious croissant I’ve ever had in my life. A PISTACHIO croissant. I haven’t stopped talking about it a year later. When you are visiting- find it. It’ll change your life.

Who doesn't love a good aperitivo hour with an Aperol Spritz?

Forever drinking Aperol Spitz from here on out. Enjoy your “aperitivo” with an Aperol Spritz! Salute!

Meatball at Trattoria Santo Palato, we had to try because Stanley Tucci recommends it!

And here we have an ode to the great Stanley Tucci! We went to Santo Palo in Rome and it was perfecto! Pictured is the oxtail meatball.
